We are a family of 5 with young children. The Warren Dunes campsite is by far our favorite camping destination (we are from the Chicagoland western suburbs). At least once a year we visit in the fall for camping and apple picking. We car camp and our kids love it. There is so much to do in the area and most days, hiking the dunes and visiting the beach is enough. There is a wide variety of campsite types to fit your personal preferences. It's affordable and well kept, the camp store is great and facilities clean. Be prepared to have sand in everything!
