| Unknown | | Site #40 | | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | | This is a lovely and secluded campsite. We went in May, so the leaves were not very big on the trees yet, but we were quite far from the next campsite over and there was nothing but woods behind it. This site is on the end of a loop, and close to the toilet. The showers are a 2 minute walk away. Two slight downfalls, if it matters. This site is very close to Highway #60, and semi traffic is fairly high at night, so you won't get that "deep in the woods" feeling. Also, it did rain quite a lot when we were there and it was very muddy--the stakes holding the tarp over our table came out of the ground because it was so wet. However, if it was dry, and if you don't mind some highway traffic noise, this might be might be the nicest spot in the campground! | | |
