Cassandra D. | Excellent campground | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | The campground is very tidy and well-kept. The current camp hosts do an excellent job of keeping sites free of debris and cleaning out campfire rings. All sites have a picnic table, two poles for hanging lanterns or trash, a fire ring with grill cover. All sites are fine gravel EXCEPT handicapped-accessible sites have pavement. Campgrounds A-C are all standard sites (no elec/water) but do have a bath house at each one. Campground D has 40 elec/water sites (39 for guests, 1 for camp host) and a bath house. Although the sites are generously sized, they are VERY close together, especially in Campground D. I have never seen a state park with campsites this close together (reminded me more of a private campground in terms of proximity of sites to one another).
More of Campground D sites are pull-thru sites (but these are the ones that are exceptionally close together...NO privacy!) There are about 12 sites that are back-in. A couple of these offer more privacy if they are on the end of their stretch of sites, but again, they are very close together. This is the only drawback for me at this campground...proximity of sites. | | | This review has been viewed 83 times. |
