Very private site at a very popular park

Loved this site. We camped here over Memorial Day weekend and it was a full campground (and the park was packed, too) and this site was nice and private after fighting the crowds on the trails and beach. This site wasn't level, but many sites here at Devil's Lake seem to be that way. This loop of the Ice Age Campground is shady, and the vegetation gives some privacy. This particular site is set back far enough that it is really private. There is a vault toilet close by, but the main flush toilets and showers are on the opposite side of the loop. the showers are about the worst I've encountered. They are push button, only last about 10 seconds for each push, and there was no place to set your soap/shampoo once in the shower, and no place to sit to get dressed (no bench in shower).
