Unknown | Not good | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | This lake was very disappointing! The water was disgusting and my kids got a rash. The roads were frost heaved and we lost a muffler. The outdoor showers don't work and have spider webs and weeds growing in them. They charge you a dollar for a 2 minute shower. The toilets were in dire need of TLC. And the cleaning crew were very rude. The only good thing about this place were the trails. We left sunday morning of a long weekend...If you take your bikes for a day trip thats all its good for.

Unknown | | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | For starters I was misinformed by the Alberta parks staff when I had inquiries over the phone prior to the stay which put a large target on the campsites I reserved from the park rangers as well as the incredibly rude welcome desk clerk. Which lead to the head park ranger to openly admit most of the "staff hired by Alberta parks was incompetent" playing football at 3pm is against the rules and grounds for then to evict is after taking over $500 extra from the 8 people staying on two sites. Also waiting from 3pm until 9:30pm is in their eyes an acceptable amount of time to procrastinate informing us of this with no prior warnings.
staff should be aware of rules and regulations and not decide to change what they said mid way through a conversation just expecting you to hand our more money. Back tracking their words and being caught in their scam was evident. Being a young adult with my boyfriend and two other couples we were penalized for talking loud. Also my friend swore throughout the day with in conversation to myself and that is grounds for a $270 ticket for language. Even considering it was not to an official in any situation.
Dirty smelly water and washrooms poorly cleaned shower facilities and lack of privacy between campsites.

Unknown | First visit | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | I and my husband just spent 8 days at this campground. We had a great time. We had a nice private site in loop B, washrooms were clean, and most of all it was a quiet stay. The parks people were friendly. The only down side I saw was the lake is in trouble of disappearing. The lake is not for swimming anymore, but for me that is fine as I do not need to swim to have a great holiday. Oh and by the way the golf course you can get to through the park was a nice surprise. If I had to recommend one thing it would be for the huge potholes in the loops to be filled with gravel. Thanks L & J

Unknown | Just sad | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | We were here for the May long weekend and normally it is the best time to go. This year and last year though were horrible. The trails don't seems to be looked after at all. Our campsite was dirty with trash in the surrounding trees and the firepit was full of ashes. The worst of all was the washrooms. Even though we waited until the staff was in to clean them the outhouses stank and the toilet seats were not even wiped down. When we went into the buildings to use them, the floors were filthy and the toilets were wiped, but you could see streaks on the seats of unknown stuff!
