This park was originally called Entrance Provincial Park after the town located at the railway entrance to Jasper National Park. It was renamed in 1974 to honour the first mayor of Hinton. The park is located in a beautiful foothills setting with lodgepole pine, spruce & aspen forests. Campsite reservations are available for Gregg Lake & Jarvis Lake campgrounds; all other campgrounds in the park are first come-first served.
