This park includes the braided lower Finn Creek, a deep meandering channel, and islands in the North Thompson River. Note that no camping or day-use facilities are provided here.

There are high values for chinook, coho and bull trout spawning. The park offers grizzly bear and moose habitat and has potential for many bird species.
