Harold Parker State Forest is a located in Andover, Mass, only an hour north of Boston. With 35 miles of trails, 11 ponds, and dozens of campsites, there’s something in this Central Hardwood-Hemlock-White Pine forest for everyone.

Harold Parker is a terrific campground. At $12.00 per night, it's a bargain as well. The campsites here are among the most spacious I've ever seen. The hiking trails and the fishing are outstanding!

The only thing that stops me from rating this park excellent is the old metal grates they use for fireplaces, and the beach is not very good. All elese is great. Very large mostly private sites in deep forest setting.

Campsites are large, spread out well and many are private. Facilities are neat and clean. The beach is small. The metal grates they use for fire pits leave a lot to be desired.
