Description

Saddle Valley Campground is family-owned and operated right here in Jamestown, TN. Since our company opened its doors in 1996, and since we took over in 2003, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch. Hi! We’re Ed and Teresa Elam. We have been riding and camping Big South Fork for over 15 years. We have ridden and camped all over Tennessee, and southern Kentucky. Many times we sat in camp and I would tell Teresa how great it would be to own a campground. A few years ago we bought Saddle Valley, and have devoted our life to providing a clean comfortable place to bring your horse and feel as safe as if you were still home. We enjoy meeting new people from all over the country, and enjoy it even more when they come back year after year. We pride ourselves in having information about the entire area, as well as a wealth of information on Big South Fork itself. We can help plan your trip to the area, if it’s your first time, or your tenth.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN BIG SOUTH FORK JAMESTOWN, TN
Reviewed on June 19th, 2020
Saddle Valley has large shady sites that are big enough for any size rig. There are several pull through sites. There are paddocks or stables scattered around the campground so that your horse is not far from you. The showers are always clean and the pavilion is a place to relax and visit with the other riders in the morning over a cup of coffee or after your ride over your favorite beverage. Scout and Ralph will welcome your dogs. I have stayed there for years and love the trails in the park and adjoining areas. Teresa will take good care of you and Ed will entertain you. Their 4 day ''no pack, pack trip'' is a great way to see more of the park.
