| Beautiful well kept park. The sites here are all large and will fit any size rig. Many of the sites are pull through. If you are camping here you get free admittance to the day use park at the springs. Nice boardwalk to walk there and there are glass bottom boats(for extra cost) that you can get on for a tour of the crystal clear springs. No swimming or gas powered boats are allowed to preserve the waters of the springs. Several years ago monkeys were brought to the park and placed on a small island. The monkeys turned out to be good swimmers and quickly left the island and can now be seen roaming free in the park and surrounding areas. We saw some when we walked the marsh trail. Great stop were we enjoyed lots of biking and hiking. |
