The Carp River really did not have much in the way of hiking, fishing or swimming. It did have an ORV trail. No electric hook up. They have a hand pump and vault toilets. Sites have a lantern post, picnic table and campfire ring. The biggest draw is it's location about 15 minutes north of St. Ignace. Hotel chains in St. Ignace get between $200-300/night on summer weekends.
