| Stayed 3 nights in August 2020 and was very happy with the site. Our coleman 8 person tent was definitely pushing the limits of the pad but overall we were happy with the site we picked. The hillside does drop off pretty fast if worried about pets or small children. lots of good tree options to improvise rain shelter over the site if need be.
My not particularly athletic almost 3 year old daughter did fine with walk to and from the parking area. The carts were nice and easy to push along the fairly flat & wide trail to the car.
Two biggest gripes. Not a lot of privacy from the trail but the only people passing by are those in 32 and 33. The bigger annoyance is the road noise. It's not obvious from the pictures but you're closer to the highway than you are the lake. Logging trucks engine braking and loud motorcycles were common while we were there.
Checked out 32 and 33 and had a slight preference for 31. I liked that there was more accessible wooded areas for the kids to be in and the site felt bigger. 32 and 33 are closer to each other than 32 is to 33. |
