Beautiful park with interesting history |
Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 |
The grounds are nice and nicely laid out with room for larger RV's. It was fun to walk around and see the historical parts of the park. Close to town if you want to venture there or need supplies. Nice trails that are rated easy for most of it but there are some steep spots. The Pike River side campsites are nice and quiet and you can hear the river from your site. The site we had ( 10E) was only sand pad area with no grass so if it was very rainy, you would have a mud site. They do need to add gravel to the pad and some grass would be nice. |
