Unknown | Great camping and hiking | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | I love Wild River. Campsites are mostly private, albeit a huge campground. Hiking is plentiful, but stay off the horse trails unless you want to be ankle-deep in sand and, well...you know. Be sure to hike down to the river. There is an awesome sandbar where you can have a great picnic lunch. Bathroom and shower facilities could use an upgrade. Nature center is nice and there's an awesome open field with seating to view the stars or Northern Lights, if you're lucky. Great state park and one to put on your list. | | | This review has been viewed 313 times. |
