Unknown | One of the best camping state parks in New York | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | I have camped at roughly 75% of New York's state parks over the past decade, and would have to rate this park at the very top of the list. It is a little bit off the beaten path, and lacks a swimming beach (campers must drive down to Hamlin Beach State Park to swim), but the sites are spacious and shady, many of them have genuine unobstructed Lake Ontario views, and the park is clean, quiet and professionally run. There isn't a single thing about this campground we didn't like. And we have pretty much seen it all where New York state campgrounds are concerned. We plan to return at least once every summer. | | | This review has been viewed 103 times. |
