flora e. | Buck Hall Campground | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | Depends on what you are looking for. The good...There is a boat launch on the inter-coastal located right at the campground. It would be ideal for a boater/fisherman. It is quiet and small with a camp host on site. There are birding opportunities and I did see a Bald Eagle while I was there. Located halfway between Myrtle Beach and Charleston and could make a cheap base camp for exploring the area. The bad..No playground equipment, short on scenery, and no swim area. Kids are probably going to get bored quickly. If you want beaches, scenery and activities head for Huntington or Myrtle Beach State Park. If you want solitude, quiet, no frills this might be the place for you. | | | This review has been viewed 94 times. |
