Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 This is a fantastic new park and campground located in the heart of Virginia just a half-hour west of Richmond. True to VA State Park reputation, Powhatan is clean, well cared-for, and offers something for everyone. Wide open spaces, trails for hiking/biking/horseback riding, camping (EW and primitive / canoe-in camping). I can't recommend this park enough for day use or overnight!
