Tim L. | Decent Nicolet Bay Site, but many are better | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | Stayed four nights here in late July.
Pros:
Morning sun is blocked.
A nice deep site.
New electric service, just added.
Pit toilets close, across the street and down a site.
Eight minute walk to the Nicolet Bay beach and camp store.
Decent tent pad area, dirt and grass. (I don't care for gravel pads.)
Nothing behind this site but trees and brush.
Neighbor to the left is quite far away. Perhaps 150 feet of trees and brush.
Cons:
Showers and flush toilets are a longer walk than you might like.
Proximity to adjoining site to the right. (But, it's a pro, if you have a group.)
Fairly narrow site.
A large amount of afternoon sun, but you can still find shade. (Pictures were taken around noon. Thus, the site gets more afternoon sun than shown.)
